About

Kasandy Mendiola

Doula, LMT, Dancer

Hi I'm Kasandy, the woman behind Xochitl Birthwork, I'm a full spectrum Bilingual (Spanish + English) Birth Doula, who finished her doula training with Cornerstone in 2024, a Dancer who has used dance as a form of healing and a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in prenatal, postpartum and lymphatic drainage since 2021. I'm also  a traditional cook and herbalist, who is passionate about ancestral food, medicine and nutrition. In 2023 after caring for my sister postpartum with my mother, I was able to see my family’s Mexican postpartum traditions come alive and I knew I had a calling. Soon after, I embarked on a journey to learn everything I could about birth and postpartum and now, I share what I've learned over the years with other women.
